John 4:5-42
The wilderness in which the Israelites wandered was a dry desert.  They looked for water.  Generations later, Jesus would say, “Whoever drinks this water will get thirsty again; but, whoever drinks the water that I will give them will never be thirsty again.”  (John 4:13)  When lost and thirsty, take care to find the water which gives more than a temporary respite.         — Wayne Arnold
