First Christian Church of Orange

About Summer Adventure:
You are invited to join us for Summer Adventure Half-Day Camp at First Christian Church of Orange! Summer Adventure will run the week of August 4-7th from 9am-12:00pm, and it is FREE!

-
Summer Adventure is for kids ages 4 - incoming 6th grade
-
Snacks will be provided each day (no lunch provided)
A note about Summer Adventure:
During Summer Adventure, we will be talking about compassion, love, kindness, and making the world a better place.

We know that every camper comes from a different faith perspectives. Your camper will never be told they have to believe certain things, or that there is a “right” religion. This year we will NOT be basing Summer Adventure on Bible stories.

If you have any questions or concerns about Summer Adventure, please do not hesitate to contact us.

How early can I drop off my camper? We encourage you to drop-off as close to 9am as possible, but you can come as early as 8:45am.
-
What should my camper wear/bring to camp? Please wear closed-toe shoes and comfortable clothes that can get a little dirty (it is possible that some art projects and games may get messy). Sunscreen (applied before camp) and a water bottle are also recommended.
-
Can my camper bring a phone? We try to keep Summer Adventure screen-free, so we prefer that you leave phones at home. Campers will not be allowed to use them during camp. If a camper wants to contact a parent during camp, we will happily provide a phone for them to do so.
-
Is there a way to know what my child will be learning at camp?Absolutely. We are happy to answer any questions that you may have and share what we have planned.
-
Does Summer Adventure cost anything? No, Summer Adventure is free to all campers. However, if you'd like to make a donation to offset the cost of the program, just let us know and we can provide you with a few ways to do that.
-
What if one of my campers has aged out of Summer Adventure, but still wants to come?We have some campers come back as Counselors-in-Training. If you are interested in being a CIT, let us know!
-
Are your adult volunteers background checked?Yes! Our adult volunteers get live scanned before camp.
